DotAdmin User Guide
Getting Started
The DotAdmin system is divided into a number of sections for managing different aspects of your website. When you first log in to DotAdmin, you will be presented with a page like the one shown below:
 The DotAdmin Index Page.
The links in the main body of this page correspond to the icons in the top-left corner of the page, and provide a brief description of what each section does:
User Management
- Provides administrators with controls for editing site author and public user (visitor) accounts.
Content Management
- The most complex section, where you can edit the pages of your website.
Mailing List Management
- For composing and sending mailshots to your subscribers.
Order Management
- Browse orders arriving through your online store and print packing lists and invoices.
Site Configuration
- Contains store-related settings aswell as tools to change the look and feel of your website.
Don't worry if you don't see all of these buttons when you log in, as some users have access to more of DotAdmin's features than others. The permissions system is explained further in the User Management section of this manual.
As you navigate through the system, these links will always remain available in the top-left of the page, along with one other button at the very left - this is the "Log Out" button and will end your DotAdmin session.
