Deleting a Zone

The “Delete Zone” icon.

To delete a zone, click the “Delete Zone” icon which is highlighted in the image shown above. You will be taken to the Delete Zone page.

Deleting a zone in the CMS will not delete any content held within that zone. If the zone you want to delete contains files or other zones, you will be warned and prompted to move this content to another destination, as shown below.

Please note that when you move this content to another location within the zone tree, some of your authors who are supposed to edit this content may no longer be able to do so (please see the User Management section for more details).
