The Banner Editor
The Banner Editor.
Account setup fields:
- ID
- The unique identifier of this banner.
- Title
- Used internally for identification purposes. Is also sometimes used as an alternate description for image based banners.
- Type
- Your site will have a number of pre-set banner types, which will have different dimensions, and will be displayed in different places on the page / site.
For example: you may have a top banner (appearing at the top of the page), and a skyscraper banner (appearing down the side of the page).
- Advertiser
- The advertiser user that this banner belongs to.
- Text1 / Text2
- Additional text used in the advert. Not all advert types use this text. Standard image or Flash based banner ads will not use this text.
- Media
- The image or Flash file used by this banner. Clicking on the pencil tool will open the image selector tool
- Template
- The HTML template used to display this banner. Image files (GIF / JPEG) and Flash (SWF) files will used different templates.
- Custom Code
- HTML used by this banner. The content of this field will be used instead of the template.
